The Penn Hills School District, located in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh is currently seeking Certified Special Education Teachers for the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
PHEA members have right of first refusal for the following ESY Certified Special Education Teachers.
POSITION TITLE: ESY Certified Special Education Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess current special education certification, required.
REPORTS TO: ESY Coordinator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 4-week summer program in addition to a mandatory (4 hr) training prior to the start of the program, date TBD.
- June 22, 2026 through July 16, 2026 (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
- Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the Penn Hills ESY Program, along with a mandatory (4 hr) training prior to the start of the program, date TBD.
- Instructional Paraprofessionals will be paid at the employee's contractual hourly rate.

PRFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES (include but not limited to):
- Provide instruction and support per students' ESY IEP goals.

Supervision of students.
